  2. I have only come up with a few ideas that I can use with my pre-schoolers. We do a few auditory discrimination skill builders throughout the year to help improve their understanding of sounds that each letter makes. Sometimes we record our voices on a tape player(yes, a tape player) and then we play them back and ask questions. One time we laughed for the letter "L" and we had to guess who it was laughing. Sometimes we would record one word at a time and play it back later to identify which letter it began with. Either way any idea where they can hear their own voice just seems to tickle their fancy. If I could use the vocaroo then they could review our school projects at home and their parents could get an idea of what their kids were doing. I do not know why, but most days you ask a student what he/she did that day and the response will be, "nothing." This could be another way to get parents involved in the learning process.

  3. You seem like such an engaged and progessive teacher. I would have loved for my children to have been in your class. I understand the comment that they did "nothing in class". I get really tired of having to drag it out of them what they did that day. I would love to see them come home really excted about what they have done. I have a 14 month old who will hopefully experience the benefits of te new technology that we are learning. As a future I look forward to following what you are doing. Thanks for doing a great job.
