  2. I feel like a bad best-good friend for not jumping on and checking this out when you told us about it last weekend. I'm sorry. Anyway. Looks like you guys had fun and MADE a memory that you can show everybody. And maybe you told me the answer to this before, but when you create these, can you save them to a disc or some other storage device (like for the kids to have as a keepsake?) Just wonderin' Love you and I'm proud of you!

  4. Amy and Martha said it so well. I want my kids to be taught by you! Your clarity in your audio description and video reading is great! I think it is so cool the way you did this fun and meaningful project, taught technology and tech-safety, and then shared your work with your community and the world via newspaper submission and glogster creation! I am definitely tweeting about this! I hope you do too!

I am very proud of you and I can guarantee Dr. Strange and the gang are too. Great job.

  5. What a great project! I can tell how meaningful this project was to your students because of the choices they made for the fabric they brought. Kyla's identifying her piece with love is very moving.

Really, what I appreciate most about the project was that your students created something tangible that will be enjoyed by the person receiving the quilt. It isn't just some bits on the internet. A very powerful activity.

  6. Alana,

Your glog is so amazing! I love how you read a story to your class, and then in return, the students were able to create a quilt. This project was educational and meaningful. I also love that you are sending it to someone. These children are blessed to have you as a teacher. Well done, and I am truly inspired.
